The Plastic Recycling Program evolved from a bin donation grant in collaboration with the National Recycling Coalition and the Coca Cola Co. to provide recycling opportunities to educational facilities in Victoria. The program encompasses a wide range of educational locations including schools, daycares, a museum and The Texas Zoo. Items collected for recycling are plastic containers # 1 and #2, which are the only types of plastic accepted at the City of Victoria's Huvar Recycling Center.
