Become part of Victoria Kids Recycle community today...

Start a Victoria Kids recycling program @ your school
Step 1: Identify what you want to recycle.
Step 2: Find a recycle center or vender nearby which accepts the recyclable.
Step 3: Organize the program meaning.
-Place recycling bins at optimum collection locations.
-Create/Print a “What We Recycle” flyer and hang above bins.
-Inform classmates about the program through school announcements.
newsletters, or other school communications.
-Provide incentives to kick-off the program.
Step 4: Educate your audience by inviting students to get involved by emptying bins,
      making a video or other supportive tasks.
Step 5: Monitor your program for success and call in additional help if program
      challenges arise.

Coordinate a Victoria Kids Recycle event @ your school
Step 1: Research collection program opportunities that interest you.
Step 2: Get permission to do the event from your principal.
Step 3: Place recycling bins with "what we recycle" flyers at optimum locations.
Step 4: Get attention by submitting a press release to various news medias.
Step 5: Educate your audience during school announcements, newsletters, videos and etc.

Raise recycling awareness @ your school
Step 1: Identify an applicable school project for you to do.
Step 2: Focus your research by choosing a single recyclable commodity to research.
Step 3: Conduct an experiment on a small scale to learn about the researched recyclable.
Step 4: Prepare an interactive presentation of the experiment results and research conclusions.
Step 5: Present information before your teacher, classmates, administrative staff, or school board.
